About Mrs. Garcia

     I have been teaching at Woodland Hills Elementary School since 1998 and consider it my home away from home. I spent 15 years teaching fourth and fifth grades, 4 years in third grade, and 3 years in second grade. Although I love being a teacher, I equally enjoy my role as School Coordinator helping students on their educational journey.

      I am a mother to two children that were lucky enough to have been able to learn from the amazing teachers at WHECES. When not in school, we love to be active, travel, and spend quality time laughing together.

      My hobbies include teaching boxing to stay healthy and happy. I also enjoy going to the beach, hiking, exploring new towns and experiencing new restaurants.

      "Don't stop until you're proud!" is a motto I want each student I interact with to take to heart. I strive to foster a happy, safe, creative classroom and school environment full of children that persevere and show kindness regularly.
